Sailing in Vedbæk, Denmark

On the east coast of Sjælland – halfway between Copenhagen and Helsingør – lies Vedbæk Harbour in a lush landscape with Blue Flag sand beaches on both sides of the harbour. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly in this well kept und attractive harbour. There are 430 berths and in 2015 more will come with the harbour extension. 


Guests can moor on any spot with a green sign, preferably at the cross piers between bridge C, D and E.

Things to see and do

On the southern beach, the large terrace is the perfect place for a barbeque. North of the harbour, in extension of the beach, you will find a well-equipped exercising area.

Local fishermen bring fresh fish every day, caught in the Øresund – bring your plastic bag and buy your fish fresh off the boat. `Provianten´, the harbour kiosk, is open from March til October. Do you need a broader range, you will find the grocery store Irma only a few steps outside the harbour. Otherwise, Vedbæk offers a wider range of shopping.

Within walking distance you can reach the train, and the bus goes from the centre of town southwards to Copenhagen and northwards to Helsingør. Within less than half an hour you will get to experience the attractions these cities have to offer. Visit the amusement park Tivoli, the museum of modern art Louisiana, Kronborg castle and lots more.
