Flexible cancellation
Full refund 24 hours prior to arrival, except fees
The Boatflex service fee is non-refundable.
If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Boatflex within 24 hours of check-in.
Boatflex will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes.
A reservation is officially canceled when the renter clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page.
For a full refund, cancellation must be made a full 24 hours prior to the boat owner's local check in time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the date of check in. For example, if check-in is on Friday, cancel by Thursday of that week before check-in time.
If the renter cancels less than 24 hours before check-in, the first day is non refundable.
If the renter arrives and decides to leave before the scheduled date, days not spent on the boat are not refunded.
Moderate cancellation
Full refund 5 days prior to arrival, except fees
The Boatflex service fee is non-refundable.
If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Boatflex within 24 hours of check-in.
Boatflex will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes.
A reservation is officially canceled when the renter clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page.
For a full refund, cancellation must be made a full 5 days prior to the boat owner's local check in time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the date of check in. For example, if check-in is on friday, cancel by the previous sunday before check-in time.
If the renter cancels less than 5 days before check-in, the first day is non refundable, but the remaining days will be 50% refunded.
If the renter arrives and decides to leave before the scheduled date, days not spent on the boat are not refunded.
Strict
50% refund up until 7 days prior to arrival, except fees
The Boatflex service fee is non-refundable.
If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Boatflex within 24 hours of check-in.
Boatflex will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes. A reservation is officially canceled when the renter clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page.
For a 50% refund, cancellation must be made 7 full days prior to the boat owner’s local check-in time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the day of check-in. For example, if check-in is on Friday, cancel by Friday of the previous week before check-in time.
If the renter cancels less than 7 days before check-in, the days not spent are not refunded.
If the renter arrives and decides to leave before the scheduled date, days not spent on the boat are not refunded.
Extra strict 30 days
50% refund up until 30 days prior to arrival, except fees
The Boatflex service fee is non-refundable.
If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Boatflex within 24 hours of check-in.
Boatflex will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes. A reservation is officially canceled when the renter clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page.
For a 50% refund, cancellation must be made 30 full days prior to the boat owner’s local check-in time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the day of check-in.
If the renter cancels less than 30 days before check-in, the days not spent are not refunded.
If the renter arrives and decides to leave before the scheduled date, days not spent on the boat are not refunded.
Extra strict 60 days
50% refund up until 60 days prior to arrival, except fees
The Boatflex service fee is non-refundable.
If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Boatflex within 24 hours of check-in.
Boatflex will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes. A reservation is officially canceled when the renter clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page.
For a 50% refund, cancellation must be made 60 full days prior to the boat owner’s local check-in time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the day of check-in.
If the renter cancels less than 60 days before check-in, the days not spent are not refunded.
If the renter arrives and decides to leave before the scheduled date, days not spent on the boat are not refunded.
Adverse Weather Conditions
If the weather conditions do not allow you to sail on the day the rental starts, the renter and boat owner may jointly decide to postpone the rental and must inform Boatflex.
Otherwise, and only in the case of rentals of 24 hours or less, you will be refunded the total booking amount excluding the Boatflex service fee. The refund will be in the form of a voucher valid for one year, provided that you notify Boatflex in writing no later than 24 hours before the rental.
In case of a booking with a professional owner, the Commercial Conditions of the professional owner apply. The professional owner may offer the renter a refund or a reschedule of the rental.
In the event of a refund, the professional owner will refund the rental price excluding the Boatflex service fee.
